Reliance Jio Announces 4 New Prepaid Plans With 2GB Daily Data and 1000 Off-Net Minutes

Reliance Jio Announces 4 New Prepaid Plans With 2GB Daily Data and 1000 Off-Net Minutes 1

Reliance Jio has added 4 New prepaid plans called “All-in-One” of Rs  222, Rs 333, Rs 444 & Rs 555 with up to 3,000-minute calls to other network and validity up to 84 days.

Reliance Jio has come up with four new prepaid plans of Rs 222, Rs 333, Rs 444 and Rs 555 offering 2GB day by day information and 1000 off-net minutes with every plan and 3000 off-net minutes for Rs 555 plan. Presently, the Mukesh Ambani-owned telco is facing a part of backfire from its own subscribers for breaking the guarantee of unlimited voice calls for a lifetime. Be that as it may, Reliance Jio is attempting its best to protect its choice of charging for active voice calls made to other networks. Jio’s new plans are affordably estimated and they offer superior benefits than estimated plans from Airtel and Vodafone Idea. The Rs 222 plan will be valid for 28 days followed by Rs 333 will be for 56 days and Rs 444 and Rs 555 are having a validity of 84 days. This is now quite interesting to see the reaction of Vodafone Idea & Bharti Airtel.

From the available details in Reliance Jio Website, these “All-in-One” plans are the cheapest plans among the other operators like Vodafone Idea & Bharti Airtel. For an example, if customer is using a minimum prepaid tariff plan of Rs 198 (Unlimited Jio-Jio calls) and IUC Top-up of Rs 50 (Rs 39.37  of Talk time equals to 656 off-net call minutes as IUC minutes), then the customer needs to spend Rs 248 as monthly recharge, however with the “All-in-One” pack, Rs 222 plan offering Unlimited Jio-Jio calling and 1,000 minutes of off-net or IUC minutes. It means the total recharge amount will be less by Rs 26 and an additional 355 minutes for free as off-net or IUC minutes and obvious the new plans are better than the existing plans.

Reliance Jio All-in-One Prepaid Plans:

With the launch of IUC Top-up vouchers on the past week, Vodafone Idea & Bharti Airtel has taunted the telco on Social media websites saying “Free Means Free” and they will not charge any additional amount from subscribers for off-net / IUC calls. So if we compare Jio’s Rs 222, Rs 333, Rs 444 and Rs 555 prepaid plans with those of Airtel and Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio still has the upper hand.

So in terms of pricing, the Mukesh Ambani-owned telco Reliance Jio still has the upper hand, but the plans offer with 1,000 and 3,000 minutes of off-net calling, but Airtel and Vodafone Idea are providing unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit. So customers having a heavy voice calling, chances are they will end up recharging talk time plans of either Rs 10 or Rs 20 or Rs 50 on top of the Rs 222 prepaid plan.
